STICKY FAB
Spec Sheet
3" x 150 ft. Fiberglass Mesh Roll, 18/case. Used to create a vapor barrier when connecting flex duct to tap collars and at the seams of fiberglass duct. Insulated flex duct has the inner and outer wrapper. The inner wire reinforced flex duct is slipped on the neck of the round tap collar and secured with panduit strap. Then the insulation is pulled over that and the outer jacketing is pulled over that and all of it is secured with another duct tie. Once all that is secure, the STICKY TAPE is wrapped around that connection and stapled. It is then coated with duct sealer. That's the same process used on grill tie-ins and VAV boxes, fan boxes, etc.
