Coil Line—Front End

Vicon Front End Coil line produces Blank, Bead, and Notches
Unlike a Full Wrap Coil Line, which makes sections of Rectangular Duct, the Front End Coil Line produces Flat Blanks, Beaded and Notched.  The Front End Line consists of Uncoilers and Feeder ramp into a unit that has the Straightener and a Beader, followed by a Notching Station and the 16 ga Shear Unit. Popular optional add-ons to the Front End are the Hole Punching for Internal Tie Rods and Plasma torch for cutting out taps. When ordered, these options are positioned after the Beading Unit and before the Notching Station. A key feature of Vicon’s Front End, which they refer to as the Duct Line Express, is that it can be expanded to a Full Wrap coil Line at any time.
