Pexto 381

Pexto 3 ft 22 ga Roller plays a role fabricating a Radius Elbow

The 3 ft manual roller is a staple in every duct shop. One of the many functions it’s used for is turning a curve on a flat piece of metal with female Pittsburgh Seams already installed on both sides. Because the Upper roll can adjust vertically, it can turn a curve on a piece of sheet metal without compressing the Seam on either side.

Lower thumb screws adjust upper roll, upper screws adjust rear roll for desired forming Radius

Finished product is a radius elbow

Once formed from Flat to a Radius, this part of a Radius Elbow is referred to as the “Wrap”. When the Female Seams of each side of the Wrap are connected with the Male Flange on the Cheek, the Wrap becomes the Heel of the Radius Elbow.
