Aligning and Clamping two connection sections of Duct is made much easier with this Modified Vise Grip with a Round Tapered design which allows you to use at any angle. These modified 11R Vise Grips with a hardened tapered pin type end on one end and an open socket that the tapered end on the other provide labor savings connecting the sections of Ductmate 35 Flange end to end , holding the two mating sections together while lining up the Corners. For shops using the DC3B Corners ( round hole, corner clips instead of 3/8” Carriage Bolt and Nut, this tool has an added advantage in that the no-bolt clips can be driven onto the corners while the alignment grips are in place holding the duct together.
