A water-based, premium quality, low odor, quick drying, water resistant, vapor retarder mastic for commercial and residential use. DP 3030 is bright white and is formulated to have excellent brush and trowel application properties. DP 3030 is recommended for most types of thermal insulation. DP 3030 may be used in high humidity environments to retard water vapor permeation. DP 3030 is recommended to coat most types of thermal insulation, including fiberglass, mineral fiber, polyisocyanurate, and polystyrene foam. It can be used indoor or outdoor and resists discoloring with age.
• Excellent Water and U.V. Resistance.
• Resists Yellowing with Age.
• Average Perm Rating (ASTM E-96, Method A): 0.12 perms (0.08 metric perms) at 57 mils (1.4 mm) dry film thickness.
• Meets the permeance requirements of ASTM C755-20, Section 7.2.2 for below ambient vapor retarder coatings when used as a closure mastic in conjunction with ASJ and other vapor retarder membranes.
