Hot Rolled Sheets go through a Mill process which involves rolling the Steel at a high temperature (usually in excess of 1500 degrees). The material passes through multiple pairs of rolls while it is still malleable and the thickness or gauge is reduced according to the pressure exerted or the number of rolls it passes through.
