The MF70 replaces the MF12A to mark Duro Dyne’s 70th anniversary. The only change this time around is a metallic silver finish instead of the trademark yellow and black. 220 Volt and powered by a 10 KVA transformer, the compact design of the MF70 belies it’s capacity to weld pins to metal as heavy as 16 gauge.
If a duct shop has been using Self Adhesive Hangers with Washers, the investment in a compact pinspotter speeds up the Lining process over 20% while the shop enjoys a “pin” savings over 30%.
When using the MF70, the operator places all of the weld pins thru the Duct Liner first, and then goes back and welds after. Then the speed of welding is approximately 1 pin every 2 seconds, or 30 pins per minute. Complete with a 10 ft Cable and Gun, the MF70 Accommodates 1/2″ thru 2″ long weld pins.
At any time in the future, the shop can add the FPP70 5 ft Bulk feed Platform and alternate between using use this as an automatic pinspotter for straight duct and a portable model for fittings.
