Blade guide rotates from left / right (standard) to straight ahead. This gives operator the ability to cut without interference of the saw frame. Blade also has a “cooler” on it so the blades last longer and you get cleaner cuts.
Infinite variable blade speed from a frequency drive motor eliminates the belt style speed control. This is done with a computerized motor control [standard feature].
