Hi-speed Buttonlock M&F SL Rolls 1 Phase
Brand Flagler Capacity 20 Ga Length 68 in Phase 1PH Speed 100 FPM Width 24 in Amperage Draw 21 Amps Height 42 in Manufacturer The Flagler Corp Shipping Weight 1,000 lbs Voltage 220V Snaplock for Rectangular Ductwork is referred to as “Buttonlock” or “Buttonpunch” so as not to be confused with the Snaplock seam used on Round Pipe. Along with Pittsburgh, Snaplock is one of the two SMACNA approved methods for the longitudinal seam in Rectangular Ductwork; it consists of a Male Right Angle and Female Pocketseam rollformed on the Flagler High Speed Buttonlock Machine. Because assembly of the male and female Snaplock is so much faster and easier than assembling Male and Female Pittsburgh, the Buttonlock Machine gives an advantage to shops on Straight Duct.
Flagler’s High Speed 9 station Buttonlock comes standard with Female rolls built Inboard , 7/16” Male Snaplock rolls Right Outboard.
Female Seam uses 1-3/8” of material , forming a 9/16” pocket depth with an overall width of 5/8”
Feed table height 35 1/8″
Electrics: 3 Phase 230 Volt, 5 HP Motor (can be used with 460 ; let us know so we can send a different starter box)
Note: The inboard female operation is fixed, however the male rolls on the outboard side can be removed and added to the outboard side of another Rollformer for a crossover setup as long as there are a minimum of 8 stations
Optional:
FL-62-000-M #62-000-M7 — 1/2″ Male Buttonlock Rolls (20-30 ga)
A Buttonlock machine gives shop the advantage of being able to send out Nested two piece Straight Duct to the field where they will “snap” it together vs the “in shop” labor intensive assembly required using Pittsburgh. Less assembly time but also less trips to Job Site.
