4" Angle Iron Ring (50pcs/Bundle)
Hole Diameter 9/32 in Material Carbon Steel Inside Diameter 4-1/16 in Number of Holes 6 Contractors who design, build, and install Air Conveying Systems to move materials like paper, fibers, and cotton specialize in a niche industry of Sheet Metal Fabrication. Pneumatic systems that move materials instead of just air typically require that the piping have a welded longitudinal seam because the thickness of the metal must be at least 18 gauge for a proper weld. These shops usually use 18-gauge and 16-gauge frequently. For the transverse connections, these shops often put Angle Iron Rings on the pipe and then Vanstone a right angle on each end by means of a Power Rotary Machine with 1/2" Flanging Rolls.
Rolled carbon steel prepunched angle iron rings are used to join ductwork together.
We stock diameters 3" thru 59".
Larger sizes, as well as Galvanized, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel Rings, are also available with very short lead times.
