Are subcontractors being hired to install Sheet Metal Ductwork?

In several of our markets, we've seen an increase in companies that are built around an increased need: Commercial Duct Installation.

Labor Shortages are forcing many Mechanicals to try something new: subcontract the Installation of the Sheet Metal Duct to a third party. This company will vary in the extent of their offering but typically would quote a price for the labor to install plus additional materials required to connect and hang and seal. In most of these cases, the Mechanical will provide a Job Site Supervisor to oversee the installation and coordinate any additional needs or changes with the duct shop.
