The setup of the LM1010 Mechanical Shears is a critical process and one which is more involved than the LM1014 model. We speak from experience in stressing the cost of Factory serviceman set up as an option worth the money.
Here's what's included...
Set-up & Training at Customer’s Facility by Tennsmith Factory Serviceman who will do the following:
- Level & anchor the shear to floor
- Check all electrical connections
- Check for proper shearing cycle
- Verify proper blade gap
- Check/adjust back-gauge for accuracy
- Check/adjust sheet support (if equipped)
- Train operators and maintenance personnel for safe operation and proper maintenance
