Johns Manville Microlite White PSK Duct Wrap

Contractors frequently “wrap” the standard silver jacket FSK Duct Insulation around the Ductwork once it’s hung. Then, the owner or General Contractor often has this Insulation painted to blend in with the ceiling which is often black or white. But this voids the manufacturer’s warranty on the Insulation. Johns Manville Microlite Black PSK comes pre-coated in black for aesthetic applications that need high-quality insulation. Manufactured in Winder, GA.
Microlite White PSK helps brighten normally dark environments such as football stadiums like the Atlanta Falcons Mercedes Benz Stadium.

Microlite White PSK Formaldehyde-free duct wrap offers superior thermal performance and condensation control in a lightweight, blanket-type insulation with a white PSK facing. Recommended for HVAC system exteriors or surfaces where design parameters prohibit the use of liner or board. Installing contractors prefer Microlite’s binder for many reasons, including improved handling, easier cutting and less dust.

 
Tape is sold separately and available in black or white. Designed to provide a vapor barrier seal, tear-resistant and offers a super high-tack, acrylic adhesive that bonds tightly to surfaces. Can be used on applications that operate within a wide temperature range: -20°F – 260°F/-29°C -126°C.
