Degreaser
Plasma Table Labels
Plasma Table labels are always advertised as “removable” but, once applied they are near impossible to remove easily. In instances where an architect or engineer require them removed (sometimes on exposed ductwork), there’s a lot of effort required to scrape these stickers off the duct.
We sell a product in a spray can specifically designed for removing labels from ductwork without discoloring the galvanized surface. Although it's called a degreaser, it's essentially a label remover. Just spray it on the label and watch it dissolve—without affecting or discoloring the galvanized finish.
In most cases, the stickers are left on by the shops I deal with. If the duct is going to be exposed, the shops will often use blue painter’s tape to apply the sticker without peeling off the backing. Even though the stickers are advertised as “removable”, once applied, they’re almost impossible to completely remove without a product like Duro Dyne’s Solvent Based Degreaser.
