The steps required for turning the edge for a Drive Cleat...
Insert duct work into Cleatbender
Make sure it's lined up evenly
With one hand reach over and pull up the upper handle all the way towards the duct section
Reach over and pull up the lower handle and pull it to same position as upper
This continues the turn of this flange
Then push both handles back away from the ductwork...
...letting go of the lower handle
But pull the upper handle forward again to continue turning this edge from 60 to 90 to 130 degrees
Lifting Upper handle one more time to finish into a 180 degree hem
This completes the Drive Turn

Tennsmith Model 24 Manual Cleatbender

A Cleatbender turns a flat edge 180 degrees to prepare it for the Drive Cleat. For each drive turn, there are three handle pulls: the top to start, the bottom handle to almost complete then release the starting position and the top handle again to finish off.
