22 ga Perforated 5 x 10 sheet is used exclusively by Duct shops for one purpose: the inner wall of Duct Wall Rectangular Duct. Perforated serves as a sound attenuation that a solid inner wall would not be able to provide.

The duct is made in the same likeness of the Outer Shell of which it will slide into. Wrapped with a Mylar film and then wrapped with Duct Liner before going inside of the Outer Duct Wall.
