The Buttonlock PT (Polished Tooling) is identical to the High Speed Buttonlock used to make HVAC Duct except that it has special polished tooling with no knurls on the rollers that could mark up the metal. The PT version also comes with white nylon runners so that the metal moves over these instead of steel during the rollforming process. The Female Pocket seam is identical to the HVAC model, although when it comes to the perforated Male Seam, it can be ordered as a Flat Offset style or as a 90 degree Flange for a Corner Lockseam. It’s capacity is 22 gauge – 26 gauge Galvanized, and 032 – 040 Alum and it rollforms the protective film with no adjustments required.
