Not all Outdoor Ductwork is on the Rooftop and thus the method of supporting it will vary. When an Air Handler is mounted on a Concrete Pad, the Rectangular Ductwork is often mounted on Strut that’s made into a H frame secured to the Concrete by way of Post Bases. These Bases, sometimes called Post Holders, accommodate the standard 1-5/8” depth of the Strut. Conklin stocks in both 45 and 90 degree.

Post bases are used to support strut in a vertical application. Contractors can then build a frame to support what is needed to be installed.
