Norlok SLIII 25 Clinching Machine

SL stands for “Sure Lok” and that’s what this Clinching machine makes: a permanent clinch lock of two pieces of metal.
For a Duct Fab shop, the uses are numerous—Square to Rounds, Various Fittings, Flexible Duct Connectors and Drain Pans.
The SLIII is Norlok’s premium model, built to last a lifetime and running off of an Advanced Power Unit that requires 1/3 of the amount of air than the SLII or other brands of Clinching Machines. While this energy efficiency is what separates it from other Clinching machines it’s also the model we recommend for a shop with a small air compressor or in a shop already full of pneumatic machines fighting for the shop air.
It’s C Frame has 12″ Opening in the C and a 2-1/2″ distance between the Punch and Die in the Open Position which is covers at 60-80 clinches per minute. By reducing the stroke (tooling open height) from 2-1/2″ to 1″ the clinches per minute can be increased to 120.
3 Dies are included, each with a rating of 250,000 clinches at the min and 1,000,000 clinches max. Also included is a Laser Light for easy marking.
Offered as an option is the Quick Change Out Rectangular Stainless Tooling Kit. Stainless is a very hard metal and with round tooling it’s a challenge to generate enough power to coin the material at the bottom of the pocket and form a clinch. The Stainless Tooling kit will therefore avoid the need to take the workpiece over to the Spotwelder.
110 single phase volt standard, but only for when optional laser light is used (otherwise no need to plug it in at all). The foot pedal is pneumatic.
